The Kenner B-Wing Pilot is a boxy, red and fairly non-descript figure. However, it was nice to have an extra choice of Rebel pilot action figure to display when he was released. The majority of these B-Wing Pilot figures seem to have stayed stiff-limbed. Perhaps they just weren't handled and played with that much.

The B-Wing Pilot's flight suit is a really good shade of red and his boots are quite nicely detailed. He also fits well inside the vintage Kenner B-Wing Fighter and I don't think we really ever expected much more of him.
I don't think it was really the Kenner B-Wing Pilot's fault that he didn't stand out as an action figure. I think it had more to do with the fact that the Kenner B-Wing Fighter itself was much more cumbersome to store, display or play with than either the X-Wing Fighter and Y-Wing Fighter which were more conveniently shaped, and easier to pick up and handle.
The B-Wing Pilot's blaster was one of the smallest and most dainty that Kenner ever released and they were so easily lost that they are now one of the most expensive original Kenner blaster accessories to get hold of. The Last 17 A-Wing Pilot and Imperial Gunner shared the same blaster, as well as the Combat Poncho Princess Leia figure.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
