The Kenner Teebo action figure stood out amongst the original release vintage Ewok figures whose accessories are only in black or brown. The Teebo action figure has his pink hatchet, pink pig skin headdress and pink horn. His stripy grey and beige (or blue and beige) fur added to Teebo's distinctive look and helped lend some diversity to our Endor battles prior to the two late releases of Ewoks (Paploo and Lumat) and the two last 17 releases of Ewoks (Romba and Warok).

The Teebo figure's axe never fitted in his hand perfectly, but his accessories were pretty good for their time and the green feathers on his headdress help break up the monotony of the pink.
Teebo is the Ewok who cuts R2-D2 down from his restraints after Luke levitates C-3PO in the air in order to feign divine anger and persuade the Ewoks to set the heroes free.
Of the Teebo action figures that I own the most common is the grey striped 1984 figure with the country of origin removed. The slightly rarer one seems to be the blue striped 1984 Taiwan Teebo figure.
Having done some digging, on the Taiwan Teebo figure the feathers on the headgear are darker and there is a nub inside the headdress to stop it falling down over the Ewok's eyes. See the Vintage Action Figure Variant Guide here.
Amongst my collection of Star Wars books I have copy of Joe Johnston's illustrated children's book The Adventures of Teebo (A Tale of Magic and Suspense) from 1984. Since this is the only Ewok cartoon era item I own at present I thought it would be worth including it here. My copy of The Adventures of Teebo isn't in mint condition and has an ink mark on the cover page as well as the pages being rather loose, but its still really nice to have as it is quite rare these days and can sometimes sell for ridiculous amounts of money on eBay and Amazon.

This book about Teebo actually precedes the Ewoks animated series by over a year or so and as such is the first time that the Ewok's enemy the Duloks gets a mention in the Star Wars canon. Following the release of The Return of the Jedi in 1983 it seems (with hindsight) that there was quite a bit of Ewok-mania when it came to the spin-offs which included not just this book and others and the Ewoks animated series but also the two awful films for television, The Caravan of Courage (1984) and its sequel The Battle for Endor (1985).
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
