This Jawa (with Gonk Droid) action figure is an overall improvement on previous Power of the Force Jawas including the two pack and the one that came with a Ronto. The detailing on the back of the Jawa's hood is particularly nice and captures something of the essence of the over-sized Jawa hoods we see in A New Hope. There appears to be a small hole at the top of the skirt (on both sides) and the intention may have been that a blaster could be fixed on there. Like other Power of the Force Jawas this Jawa action figure has a sun roof in his hood to let the light shine through his eyes.
This Jawa with Gonk Droid figure is very similar to the larger of the two Jawas in the Power of the Force two pack. This Jawa however has moveable legs underneath his skirt and a holster moulded to his side. The panel on the figure's head is also smaller, as well as there being some extra fraying at the bottom of the back of his skirt. The bandolier is also done in a darker paint and there is no belt. The differences / improvements are small except when the Jawa action figure is viewed close up.
I have two versions of the Power of the Force Jawa with Gonk Droid figure; one with holes in his feet for a figure stand and one without. According to Jedi Business there are also versions of the Jawa with just a hole in the left foot and just one on the right as well (see http://jedibusiness.com/figureDetails.aspx?id=1294.

I don't as yet have the Gonk droid which goes with this Jawa, but as luck would have it I have two of these Jawas.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
