I have to confess to quite liking the POTJ Han Solo Bespin Capture action figure. He's poised for a good shoot out (as Han Solo should be) and the detail on his blue jacket it quite nice with its creases and curls doing proper justice to our favorite scruffy-looking smuggler. His blaster is a slight departure from previous Han Solo blasters with the angled handle and grey colour, but that said it is a proper Han Solo blaster and not a Bespin pistol which Han had been wrongly given for the Kenner Bespin Han Solo figure.

This isn't a bad Bespin Capture Han Solo figure at all, however there is no knee articulation to the figure and the early attempt at swivel arm articulation doesn't really enhance his mobility very much. I don't have the handcuffs for him, but having examined the arm movement I suspect that this Bespin Capture Han Solo figure could only be cuffed from the front with the cuffs that belong with him. The detailing is almost (but not quite) as good as the 1999 POTF2 Star Wars Han Solo but the articulation is no where near so good.

With a little bit of fiddling the Bespin Capture figure Han can be handcuffed from the rear using the Power of the Jedi Bespin Guard handcuffs.

This Han Solo Bespin Capture action figure was later recycled for the Betrayal on Bespin Battle Pack.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
