This Power of the Jedi Mas Amedda action figure has quite a neon face. In fact he almost wouldn't look out of place in a tropical fish tank. He's very stern looking whilst also having the dignity of office and he's much more slender in appearance than the Revenge of the Sith Collection Mas Amedda figure.

The mould for the hands and face are particularly good on this The Phantom Menace Mas Amedda action figure. Amedda's robes also have a very nice texture to them.

Mas Amedda seems very good at keeping his job and survives the premiereship of Chancellor Valorum through to the transition to Palpatine as Chancellor and then Supreme Chancellor and then stays with Palpatine throughout his rise to totalitarian dictator and Emperor.

As Vice Chair of the Galactic Senate the mysterious character of Mas Amedda seems to have a role in the senate something akin to Speaker of the House, Chief Whip and Master of Ceremonies all at the same time. You can find Amedda's backstory on Wookieepedia here.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
