Salacious Crumb Figure Power of the Jedi

Salacious Crumb (with Amanaman): Overview

Salacious Crumb Figure with Amanaman Power of the Jedi rear

I've never been quite sure of the logic behind packing a Salacious Crumb figure in with Amanaman for this Power of the Jedi two-pack. He makes sense with C-3PO and also packed in with Oola, but since the bounty hunter Amanaman is a courtier at Jabba's palace and not the hired domestic help or entertainment and he doesn't match as well as the other characters Crumb gets packed with.

I don't have the Power of the Jedi Amanaman as yet, but I do have the Last 17 one. I haven't photographed them together as they don't really sit well together as companion figures.

Salacious Crumb has never really had the full treatment as an action figure, always coming packed in with something else and with little or no articulation. A well-made and articulated Salacious Crumb on his own card back would be a most welcome addition. Crumb really was one of the most agile, mobile and expressive of all the denizens we encounter at Jabba's court in The Return of the Jedi so a well articulated action figure would really add something of value for collectors.

This Power of the Jedi Salacious Crumb action figure is almost identical to the one which got packed in with the Power of the Force Oola, but the paint job is distinctly different as shown in the comparison photo below. It has more pronounced purple spots on its belly than the one which shipped with Oola and has a much more vibrant paint job.

Other Power of the Jedi Action Figures

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
