Boba Fett (Kamino Escape) Action Figure: Overview

Boba Fett Kamino Escape figure close up

This is a very versatile Saga Series version of Boba Fett as a child from Attack of the Clones and the action figure comes with some really good accessories. First off we have the water proof shawl which matches very well with the action figure's rain drenched hair which is perfect for the Kamino escape scene. Then we have the Jango Fett Helmet which, whilst it fits Boba, is very useful for the scene where Boba goes and picks up the head of his dead father on Geonosis, which is a moment just laden with Star Wars symbolism. Finally, Boba has his father's jet pack and blasters for him to inherit (along with Slave 1) as his character moves on into the time of the Clone Wars animated series. Both the helmet and the jetpack fit on to the Saga Series Boba Fett action figure; however these would be more accurately the items which the young Boba quickly hides from view from Obi-Wan Kenobi before he makes the connection between the man in front of him and the mysterious bounty hunter whom he encountered on Coruscant after catching the assassin Zam Wesell.

The action figure itself is very good indeed and has a good facial representation of Boba's sullenness. His outfit is also a good representation of what he wears on Kamino with the pale blue tunic and deep blue sleeves.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
