General Rieekan (Hoth Evacuation with Tactical Screen) Action Figure: Overview

General Rieekan Figure Hoth Evacuation with Tactical Screen rear

The Saga Series General Rieekan action figure doesn't have the articulation and/or superior mould of the other modern Hoth Rebel action figures such as Major Bren Derling or Toryn Farr etc., but his facial detail is nice and he's quite an important addition to flesh out Echo Base.

The bottom of the jacket is quite a hard plastic which restricts Rieekan's leg movement quite a lot.

Anyone particularly observant will notice that the General Rieekan figure in the photographs is actually the 2006 Battle of Hoth Saga Collection version of this action figure with the black belt buckle (this one came with a blaster). The Saga Series (Hoth Evacuation with Tactical Screen) General Rieekan had a brown belt. I have two of the Saga Collection figures but not the brown belt one which came with the Tactical Screen. It's a bit of a fudge but it would have been a shame not to show case this fabulous accessory alongside the figure.

The lines on the Tactical Screen light up beautifully with the flash from the camera. The transparency of the Tactical Screen also allows for the creation of a diorama which feels very three-dimensional. I've extended the area out a little using a couple of consoles from the Power of the Jedi Bacta Tank.

The General Rieekan figure in the photograph below has a bit of paint loss on his pockets and a bit of ink damage.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
