The Saga Series Han Solo Hoth Rescue action figure came with a blue lightsaber, blaster, face mask and scanner. The brown jacket version I have has some snow smudges. The detail on the figure's hood is really nicely done.

I don't have the correct accessories for this Hoth Rescue Han Solo figure but I've borrowed the scanner from the Power of the Jedi K-3PO (which seems to be identical), and also used a blue lightsaber and Han Solo blaster from elsewhere.

The swivel action on this Han Solo action figure is a little gimmicky and when you turn the figure's waist without the button he clicks like R2-D2.

Han's legs are so far apart that you'd expect him to come with a Tauntaun to ride and it's quite difficult to make him stand up without a figure stand. This is especially odd since this Han comes with a lightsaber which means the only Tauntaun around is the dead one that he cuts open and he's hardly going to ride a dead Tauntaun. In fact, if you put Han on the Power of the Force Tauntaun he does fit fairly well.

There's an interesting explanation as to why Han has this incongruous lightsaber. The figure also came as part of a commemorative tin Saga Series Empire Strikes Back four-pack with Chewbacca, Luke and a Snow Trooper. In the four pack, Luke's lightsaber is packed in with Han rather than with Luke.

The Luke Skywalker figure in the 4 pack is the same as the Saga Series Hoth Attack action figure. I haven't seen this particular Chewbacca anywhere else so I'm guessing he might be unique to this set. The Snowtrooper looks to be the same as the Saga Series Snowtrooper Commander figure (he has the same holster but it is redundant in the Commemorative Tin version as he's been given a rather out-of-place looking heavy blaster rifle and no E11 blaster.)

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
