I have both Luke Skywalker (Hoth Attack) figure's lightsaber and also his goggles but not the ice cave section and also his removable scarf is also missing on the two copies of the Saga Series action figure that I have. With a bit of work the goggles will fit over Luke's hat and on to his face, although the fit isn't perfect.
Find Luke Skywalker (Hoth Attack) action figure on eBay
For the ice cave section I've improvised for the photo below with a couple of Micro Machines Hoth stands. Hopefully I'll get hold of the ice cave section at some point as it fits together with the one from the Saga Series Wampa to form a dyptich and as such would be great for display.
This Luke Skywalker Hoth Attack action figure was recycled for a Saga Series commemorative tin four-pack which also included a Snowtrooper Commander (without the laser canon), a Hoth Han Solo and a unique Chewbacca with a large amount of compacted snow on his fur. Strangely, Luke's lightsaber was packed in with Han in this set.
When Luke finds himself upside-down in the Wampa's cave this is the first of three occasions in The Empire Strikes Back in which Luke ends up the wrong way up. See my article, Luke Skywalker and the World Turned Upside-Down.
The Wampa Cave diorama for the photo below was a really quick and easy affair. The background is simply from a roll of fake snow I sometimes use at Christmas and the ceiling and stalactites are just peices of polystyrene that came already in that shape for packing a job lot of Star Wars figures which I bought from eBay. To hold them together I just used cocktail sticks and then pushed Luke's feet into the polystyrene to get him to stay upside down. Aside from that I just ran the photo through an 'Artic filter' in Windows Photos and stuck the Wampa monster into the scene. The whole thing took less than 5 minutes.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
