The Geonosis Battle Arena is all about characters and droids being blown up and/ or split apart. We have C-3PO spliced with a Battle Droid, Jango Fett losing his head, C-3PO losing his, sliced up Geonosians, break-apart Battle Droids and also this exploding body damage Saga Series Super Battle Droid action figure. There's a small button at the bottom of the Battle Droid's back which triggers the explosion.

This Super Battle Droid (With Exploding Body Damage) figure stands quite well and is articulated quite nicely so that he can keep his balance. By comparison, every Super Battle Droid from the Saga Series Force Powers two pack or Super Battle Droid with Firing Arm Blaster (ROTS Collection) that I have seems to fall over continually even with the aid of a figure stand. What's more the Super Battle Droid isn't too fiddly to put back together once he's been exploded. It's quite nice that his bottom half can stay stood up with his upper half has been blown up.

The Saga Series Super Battle Droid figure came with two normal arms and the firing blaster canon arm. The canon arm can be fitted on to either shoulder. It's supposed to go on the right arm of the figure but doesn't look out of place on the left.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
