The facial detail on this 30th Anniversary Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight) action figure is very good indeed and between the Rancor bone accessory and the blaster damage to his hand this Luke is situated on Tatooine in The Return of the Jedi. However, Luke's hand gets hit with a blaster during the battle above the Great Pit of Carkoon, so it's slightly anachronistic to place the Rancor bone in his hand for a scene which happened prior to this. The lightsaber hilt is also slightly out of place since Luke, of course, arrives at Jabba's Palace unarmed and thus never carries a lightsaber by his side until he gives the signal to R2-D2 to fire his concealed lightsaber at the sail skiff where Luke can catch it.

The blaster scoring on the TAC Luke figure's left (robotic) hand is a feature we first saw on the Luke Skywalker which came with the Power of the Force Desert Sail Skiff.
The bone from the Rancor's Pit is a fantastic accessory giving us as it does the potential to re-create one of Luke Skywalker's most iconic scenes from The Return of the Jedi.
On the copy of the TAC action figure that I have Luke's face is more tanned than his neck and hands, something which is also apparent on my 30th Anniversary Collection Death Squad Commander figures.
We have had a Return of the Jedi Luke Skywalker figure with a Rancor bone accessory before, (with Rancor - Power Of The Force, 1998). The 30th Anniversary bone is very smooth, whereas the Power of the Force one looks much rougher like it has been more recently knawed./p>
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
