This is a very nice 30th Anniversary Collection rendition of the Separatist Senator Po Nudo. Po Nudo's name is very similar to the Croation word for an offer (ponudu). As such, one has to wonder if this somehow represents or reflects the backroom deals he's been doing, and what offer or proposition Count Dooku might have made to him to persuade him to join the Separatists. As a member of the Aqualish species Po Nudo is to be counted among the numerous aquatic species that we first met in the Original Trilogy, including the Aqualish Walrus Man, the Mon Calimari Admiral Akbar and the Quarren Squid Head.
When we look at the first Aqualish we encounter, Walrus Man (Ponda Baba), we see that Baba was depicted as having two eyes whereas this Aqualish senator definitely has four. Nudo also has a very pronounced tusk which Ponda Baba doesn't have.
The 30th Anniversary Po Nudo action figure is photographed below stood in the Senate pod which came with the Skirmish at the Senate Battlepack. He poses very well cheering along a motion passed in the Senate. I probably also need to eventually take some photos of the Po Nudo figure alongside the other Separatist leader action figures on Geonosis and/or for the scene when Anakin/Vader comes to wipe them out on Mustafar in The Revenge of the Sith.

The Po Nudo figure's jerkin is somewhat reminiscent of the sort of light leather armour worn by Jabba's skiff guards in The Return of the Jedi.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
