These Clone Wars Aqua Droids feature perhap most memorably in the battle between the Quarren and the Mon Calimari in the Clone Wars Series episode Water War (Season 4). They also appear during the seige on Kamino in the episode Arc Troopers (Season 3).
Quite a number of action figures from the Clone Wars series are derived from the Water War episode and specific only to this episode which rathers means that they are not a lot of good for anything else. These include the Quarren and Mon Calimari warriors.
One of the nice things about the Water War episode is that it gives us background for two species that we first encounter in The Return of the Jedi (the Mon Calamari and the Quarren) and we see them sharing the same planet and struggling for political power. We had also seen some Quarren senators in the Prequel Trilogy but we had to wait until Rogue One before we got another movie featuring a Mon Caramari in the form of Admiral Raddus. In the Star Wars Rebels series we also get some background for the credentials of the Mon Calamari as builders of military space ship fleets as well as leaders of them when we meet Quarrie, the inventor of the B-Wing Fighter (Star Wars Rebels - Wings of the Master). See Wookieepedia here.

The Clone Wars Collection Aqua Droid figure's feet close up to form a pair of flippers for propelling him through the water which is a really neat feature. I'm missing the weapon which clips on to his arm unfortunately.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
