Mace Windu (with Jango Fett Helmet) Action Figure: Overview

This is the action figure version of Mace Windu with the split-apart Jango Fett helmet and for that reason it's one of my favorites. Mace has a really ugly grimace on his face. This is hardly the sort of face that you'd expect to find on a Jedi; however Mace is quite an angry Jedi and often seems to be seething with anger just beneath the surface of a calm exterior.

I got this Mace Windu action figure as part of a job lot and as a carded figure I have been unable to bring myself to take him off the card, and for the time being he will remain MOC. I do have a loose version of the figure but without the accessories.

Apparently, there is a thermal detonator hidden inside the split-apart helmet which relates back to a Clone Wars plot and not the plot of The Attack of the Clones as we might expect when we see Fett's helmet detached from his body. This gives the accessories a fair deal of flexibility though since you can use them either for Clone Wars Series scenes or Attack of the Clones scenes. The Clone Wars Episode is from the second series (R2 Come Home) and you can find the plot here R2 Come Home plot.

Other Clone Wars Collection Action Figures

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
