This Episode One Collection Senator Palpatine action figure has a very nice level of detail on the robe and tunic but as with other figures of its generation is lacking in joint articulation. The facial likeness is rather good.

The cam droid that come with Palpatine fits into his figure stand. This may have been a flaw since the two easily become separated. Whilst I've picked up three of the cam droids I've only just acquired the correct figure stand and I only have the one of them. This shouldn't cause a massive issue though since all Episode One Collection figure stands have a hole in them which fits the cam droid.

The colours on the Palpatine action figure's outfit are vibrant and rather resemble the bright plumage of a peacock which is a very subtle manifestation of Sith pride.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
