Search Star Wars Figures and Vehicles:

Before I acquired the Power of the Force Endor Attack playset I had an awful lot of Endor vehicles and playsets. I even had a few bits of this playset including the catapult and tree stump from a mixed job lot I'd bought on eBay. My Endor scenes never looked complete though until I had the shield generator that comes with this Endor Attack Playset.

In The Return of the Jedi the shield generator is the focal point in the movie for the entire battle on Endor and all the action is either orientated around it or motivated by the Rebel's mission to destroy it. Once I added the shield generator from the Endor Attack Playset to everything else I had the whole Endor scene came together and made sense much more than it had done previously. The whole point of the Rebels being on Endor is to blow up this building and without it the focus and purpose of the battle is missing.

The shield generator from the Endor Attack Playset is quite fiddly to put together, and typically my first failed attempt was made without reading the instructions. When I did consult the instructions it was still quite awkward to get the sliding doors into place and to clip the whole thing together. All the details are painted on so there are no stickers to mess about with which I was grateful for.

Unusually there are no figures with the Endor Attack Playset, but with it being a Power of the Force peice of kit this is probably a blessing as there is nothing in the box to spoil it.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
