The 30th Anniversary Collection AT-RT Assault Squad Battle Pack is a great little Kashyyyk set including two AT-RT walkers with drivers and an AT-RT Commander with heavy blaster. One of my AT-RT's has the wrong front gun and one of my drivers is missing his hands so I don't really have the full set for the purposes of photography.

We see these All-Terrain Recon Vehicles mopping up the last of the Wookiees towards the end of The Revenge of the Sith. In the movie it's a night scene and the AT-RTs have strong torches shining on the corpses of the dead Wookiees. Interestingly we see that Kashyyyk has two crescent moons in this scene (let's hope that Voolvif Monn never visits). It is also of note that these AT-RT Drivers seem to have the most pronounced New Zealand accents of any of the Clone Troopers in the Prequel Trilogy with their strongly clipped vowel sounds: 'All these Wukiees are did'.
The AT-RT Driver figures from the Assault Squad Battle Pack are a massive improvement over the Revenge of the Sith Collection AT-RT Driver with AT-RT vehicle which had been a rather rubbery and unarticulated affair. However, the AT-RT Commander figure can barely hold his heavy blaster rifle at all which is unfortunate.
The AT-RT's have an electronic walking action which works quite well and they don't fall over. I would have also liked to have seen a torch included with the electronics as in the film.
The plastic for the front gun on the AT-RT is highly prone to bending over time. The part of the AT-RT which suffers most though appears to be the rear arial antennae. I'd picked up three of these AT-RT vehicles with the antennae ripped off before I picked up one on which it was still intact (see bottom image).
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
