Whereas Boba Fett's ship Slave One quickly became iconic (even though it had so little movie time), none of the other bounty hunters' vehicles are shown in The Empire Strikes Back. Kenner went some way to recifying the situation with the CAP-2 mini-rig which was shown on the box art being piloted by the second coolest of the Bounty Hunters aboard Darth Vader's Star Destroyer, Bossk.
Find CAP-2 Mini-Rig on eBay
The great thing about this Kenner CAP-2 mini-rig is that it somehow works within the context of The Empire Strikes Back even though it never appeared in the movie. It looks just right for floating away from the Star Destroyer along with the garbage disposal and then shooting off after the Millennium Falcon along with Slave One. I suspect that the engine thruster sticker on the underside of CAP-2 did a lot to help create this feeling that it belonged somehow to this part of the movie.
With it's small size and grabber arms, CAP-2 doesn't look like a long range ship and in fact looks pretty much like the JCB of the Star Wars world, but it still works. What's more, with it's grabber arms and sucker feet this quadraped mini-rig vehicle could stand quite well on the roof of your Darth Vader's Star Destroyer Playset without falling off.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
