General Grievous's Star Fighter - 30th Anniversary Collection Overview

General Grievous's ship is a really sleek and awesome-looking star fighter and it has the bad-ass quality that you would hope for in the ship of a Star Wars villain. After all the iconic vehicles of the Original Trilogy it must have been quite a challenge to develop ones that weren't overshadowed by their predecessors and General Grievous's Star Fighter manages to do this without adapting the shape or iconography of ships from the chronologically earlier films.

Unfortunately, the Star fighter I have is a bit beaten up, the landing gear won't stay in place properly and it's missing a few parts bit it still looks pretty good despite all that.

Grievous's Star Fighter carries the name Soulless One and is the vehicle in which Obi-Wan Kenobi flees from Utapau following the execution of Order 66 by Palpatine. See the entry in Wookieepedia here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Soulless_One.

Darth Maul's Sith Infiltrator is undoubtedly cooler than Soulless One, however, the Infiltrator took inspiration from the vintage Tie Fighter shape and also the shape of the wings of Darth Vader's Tie Fighter. Soulless One creates a ship fairly iconic pretty much from scratch.

The star fighter has a nice wide cockpit which means that General Grievous action figures fit in there comfortably and you can even just about get him in with his cloak on.

In The Revenge of the Sith we see Obi Wan use Grievous’s Star Ship to flee from Utapau.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
