With its angular design and bug eyes the Kenner INT-4 mini-rig looked like quite a malevolent little ship and this was well-complemented by the sinister red visor at the front. The INT-4 didn't appear in The Empire Strikes Back and it was never perfectly clear who should pilot it (the packaging has a photo of an AT-AT Driver popping his out of the cockpit). It could fit comfortably inside the hull of a vintage AT-AT which had its uses.

Like the Revenge of the Sith Collection Tri-Fighter the front gun of the INT-4 has something a little bit probiscus-like about it and this makes it somewhat reminiscent of a mostquito (especially with the bug-eye side windows and angularity of the hull as well). This is many ways anticipates and foreshadows the insectoid droids and ships that were eventually to come in the Prequel Trilogy when we got a whole zoological collection of Star Wars ships and droids such as the Spider Droid, Crab Droid, Vulture Droid and (as already mentioned) the very mosquito-like Droid Tri-Fighter.

The red glass in the front cockpit window of INT-4 was a really nice touch and gives this mini-rig a really good sinister feel to it. When you look at the Kenner INT-4 from the front the red visor also makes it strangely reminiscent of K-9 from Doctor Who.

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
