Pod Racer (with Sebulba) - Episode 1 Collection Overview

Pod Racer (with Sebulba) cockpit portrait Pod Racer (with Sebulba) finish line portrait

This is quite a basic looking representation of Sebulba, although it does do the job. If you want to display him outside of his podracer he will stand on all four limbs. However, if you want to display him standing on his upper torso limbs you'll have some trouble as there are no holes for a figure stand and he will only lean against something with his lower body limbs with great difficulty.

Pod Racer (with Sebulba) buzz saw

The buzz saw which comes out of the side of Sebulba’s Pod Racer to rip apart his opponents’ vehicles feels like a little nod towards the chariot race scenes in Ben Hur. Being able to remove the chunky front panels and also detach the cockpit from the rest of the vehicle is a really nice touch and allows you to recreate Sebulba’s crash as Anakin races past him to victory.

Note: I picked up three of these Pod Racers before I finally got one that came complete with the Power Couplings, which would seem to be the part of the vehicle which most easily detachs itself and becomes lost (see below).

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
