The front of Zam Wesell's Speeder crumples in to replicate her crash landing whilst being persued by Anakin and Obi-Wan. Push the buttons at the front and the side panels come off and the front of the ship folds in on itself. The battle-damaged look is surprisingly effective and a really good representation of Zam's front-impact crash.

Unfortunately the Saga Series Zam Wesell action figure really does not fit well into the cockpit of her speeder. Try as I might I just can't get her in there in a position which looks anything like she's piloting it convincingly. Her skirt gets in the way, her legs get contorted and because the speeder seat is low like a low-set sports car, the waist and back aren't articulated right for her to fit into it, not to mention that you have to get Zam an awfully long way back into the cockpit for her to get to the seat.

In The Attack of the Clones the cockpit door of Zam's speeder opens from the side not the front as the Hasbro vehicle does.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
