This diminuative Vintage Collection Battle Droid is not the best army builder in the world since he’s not as tall as any of my other Battle Droids. He’s also missing the slot in his backpack to store his blaster, which is a shame. His size though is a real issue as Battle Droids (like Imperial Stormtroopers) are all about standardisation, and having the ‘aren’t you a little short for a Stormtrooper?’ conversation is one thing, but we really don’t expect to find a Battle Droid who is the runt of the litter. This Battle Droid is also quite unusual in that he has his eyes on the front of his head rather than more to the side of his head.

As mentioned on the Jedi Business website (see here ) he does go into the sleep position very well, but even Battle Droids from the Episode One Collection don’t fare too bad in this position (see for instance the clean version Battle Droid from 1999.)

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used.
