The Kenner 4-LOM action figure's mouth piece is often the most noticeable area of paint loss. The cloak was always a bulky item to try and fit the back pack over and then fasten the straps. The fabric of his beige coat is also quite prone to ripping as seen in the examples shown here. I do have much better copies of the vintage 4-LOM figure so I will have to get around to taking some more photos.

The 4-LOM figure was misnamed on the original Kenner cardback and this figure should actually have been Zuckuss. Had the names been the right way around it would have been much more clear that Zuckuss was in fact a protocol droid gone bad and not some sort of insectoid creature.
Six bounty hunters was an awful lot for Kenner to bring out for the Empire Strikes Back range of figures. However, this did give us every single bounty hunter who was aboard Darth Vader's Star Destroyer Exceutor. As such, this might be the very first time that we were able to complete an entire Star Wars scene that was busy with a multitude of characters. Put these guys aboard your Star Destroyer Playset with Darth Vader, a couple of Imperial Stormtroopers and an Imperial Commander and you're pretty much there. When looked at this way the Kenner 4-LOM figure no longer seems quite so superfluous. In fact, he helped to lend a sense of flavour and variety to the Star Wars universe of play which we had never been able to truly get from the vintage Cantina figures with there only being the four of them.
As a point of interest I have seen a repro blaster for a Kenner 4-LOM figure on eBay which was arguably nicer than the original with a really good rust patina added to the butt of the gun over the black. It's not often you see a repro which either a) goes that extra mile to look good b) makes itself so clearly stand out as a reproduction accessory. I wasn't that impressed that I bought it so I can't show a photo unfortunately.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
