The Fan's Choice Captain Antilles figure is a great addition to the Rebel troopers desperately and futilely trying to fight off the stormtrooper boarding party during the invasion of the Rebel Blockade Runner Tantive IV. The Antilles action figure has his neck slightly raised making him perfect fodder for Vader's Death Grip.
There is no articulation in Captain Antilles's legs so he's pretty much petrified into the moment of his interrogation by Vader. The mould though is something else and Antilles's boots are truly magnificent and the detail on his jacket is equally worthy of appreciation.
If you're intending to remove him from his card back then in order to get the most out of the Fan's Choice Captain Antilles Tantive IV Invasion action figure you will almost certainly need the Darth Vader Bespin Confession figure from the Saga Collection. The outstretched hand works very well for picking the Antilles figure up by his neck. I have a version without any knee articulation and I suspect this works better, but I still use a figure stand to get the balance.

"This Tantive IV Invasion figure may have benefited from a figure stand with a transparent pole to raise him into the air with support. Perhaps something similar to that used for the 2013 Mission Series Seeker Droid or for the Saga Series Watto the would have done the job. Having to have a hole in his back through may well have ruined the aesthetic.
Caption: When you get a shadow of Captain Antilles' helmet its surprisingly reminiscent of Boba Fett's helmet.
Captain Antilles looks rather too young in this rendition of him to be the same Captain Raymus Antilles who took possession of the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO 20 years earlier at the end of The Revenge of the Sith. I suppose this would have been difficult to avoid however taking into consideration that the action figure was released before Episode III came out.
All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.
All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
