If you have any regular-sized Imperial Tie Fighters then the only objection you can possibly have to this large-winged 30th Anniversary Collection version is that your others will now look out of scale. Aside from this issue of proportion this is a magnificent Imperial short range fighter. It's not something that you are ever going to amass a fleet of unless you have a tonne of space but it just looks like it's going to take off on its own and start shooting lumps out of the Millennium Falcon. I rather love this Imperial Tie Fighter.

I've taken a couple of photos for comparison; one with the same-size blue version of the Imperial Tie Fighter (thanks to Scotty for the lend of this ship) and one with the much smaller blue Power of the Force Imperial Tie Fighter.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
