Chewbacca (Empire Strikes Back Commemorative Tin Four-Pack) Action Figure: Overview

This Commemorative Tin figure is a really nice rendition of a Hoth Chewbacca and the covering of snow on his feet and arms is much heavier and more compacted than the other 2003 Saga Series Four Pack Hoth Chewbacca action figure. This makes him probably the best available Chewbacca figure to be out with Han playing peek-a-boo with the Imperial Probe Droid.

I'm really not too sure about the mustard coloured streaks in the Commemorative Tin Chewbacca's fur. They don't seem to do much for the overall aesthetic of the figure as the contrast with the browns feels a little bit too stark.

Chewbacca's mouth is open mid-roar to represent the moment that he shouts out to get the Imperial Probe Droid's attention whilst Han blasts it from behind.

As well as Chewbacca the Commemorative Tin also included a Saga Series Hoth Han Solo (brown jacket), Hoth Luke Skywalker and Saga Series Hoth Snowtrooper. The Chewbacca figure is the only one which seems to be unique to the pack, but the Snowtrooper also seems to have had quite a bit of customisation done to it for this pack. Other Saga Series Action Figures

All Star Wars action figures, vehicles, collectibles and Star Wars toys shown on this website are the 3.75 inch scale and from my own private Star Wars collection unless otherwise stated. Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. This is mostly the case for modern Star Wars lightsabers where the correct item can be very difficult to identify on some ocassions. Vintage Star Wars action figures are shown with their original weapon or accessory when I have them. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
