Whilst this is not the iconic Kenner Darth Vader's Tie Fighter, the Power of the Force iteration of the Tie fighter does not disappoint and looks thoroughly impressive roaring into battle with a couple of Imperial Tie Fighters following close behind.

The Tie Fighter vehicle has four firing missiles, the bottom two of which are about the same dimensions as match sticks and as such very easy to loose. There are also two retractable blasters one on each side of the cockpit and they retract far enough in not to be too obtrusive or to upset the aesthetic of the ship too much. In fact, before I had this version of Darth Vader's Tie Fighter I'd only seen photos (and mostly of incomplete ships) and I didn't actually expect it to look quite so good as it does.

The rear of Darth Vader's Tie Fighter has four holes going through the hull which means that if you wanted to hang it from the ceiling it should theoretically balance very well indeed.

Where possible original vintage accessories have been used but in some instances I have placed Kenner Star Wars figures with either reproduction weapons and accessories or for Hasbro figures close approximations have been used. When a vintage Kenner action figure is shown with an accessory which is not original I have tried to point this out where possible.

All of the Star Wars action figures shown were purchased second hand, usually incomplete, and in bulk. They have been reunited with their original weapons and accessories where we could get hold of them.
